The Caterpillar New Product Introduction intranet site was created to allow employees of Caterpillar to easily access the complex information regarding NPI — formerly available only in print format. The look and feel of the site relates to the look and feel of the printed version. The users of the site were all Caterpillar employees with a certain type of computer/internet configuration; therefore we were able to use frames and pop-up windows.
